The Board Members
The URH Board of Directors are currently un-paid volunteers. The board pays for expenses incurred by directors to attend meetings.
The board has a comprehensive training programme and has completed a series of induction sessions covering the full range of functions for directing the business and for the provision of services to the RMOs.
The board recognises that its function is not solely restricted to formal meetings of the directors. It welcomes and encourages wider participation in its business. It will hold a conference each year for all staff of URH and the RMOs and all residents. It also has a system of linking all council and independent directors with a member RMO so that these directors are familiar with the work of the RMOs and with the local needs of each estate.
