Welcome to URH

United Residents Housing is a unique arms length management organisation for four resident-managed estates in the London Borough of Lambeth (Blenheim Gardens RMO, Loughborough EMB, Roupell Park RMC and Waltham RMO). Together with the local resident management organisations we are responsible for over 2,500 dwellings many of which are in need of investment. Our aim is to improve the housing management and repairs services to residents, and to achieve at least two stars in Audit Commission inspection. We will then be able to draw down additional funds allocated by Government to invest in Decent Homes and Decent Estates.

We cannot achieve these ambitious goals without the enthusiasm of the URH Board, residents and the effectiveness of our staff, nor can we direct our efforts without the feedback and guidance of our customers. Our partners in Lambeth Council have helped us steer the creation of this dynamic new company. But the last word must go to the dedicated elected representatives on each estate. Residents who commit their time and energy to their local neighbourhood, and still make space to join us in running United Residents Housing, are an inspiration to us all.
