URH awarded £4.5m for Major Works
URH has been successful in getting its largest ever allocation from Lambeth Council to deliver its Major Works Programme.
URH will be spending £4.5m during 2009/10 across its 4 estates. This money will pay for some much needed works including:
- New Roofs
- New windows
- Essential Health & Safety works such as new lateral mains
- Electrical works
- New kitchens and bathrooms as and when properties become empty
We have also secured approximately £300k to do External decorations on our estates - the first such progarmme for at least 6 years.
