An Incredible Edible Lambeth Party!

We have been working so hard growing food, we need to celebrate!

On Saturday 8 October the Garden Museum is kindly supporting us and hosting daytime and evening events.

In the daytime, the Garden Museum will be open from 10am to 4pm. The Garden Museum is located at Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1 7LB with its new exhibition 'From Garden Cities to Green Cities'. The exhibition refers to food growing in Lambeth and during that day Lambeth food growers are invited to have stalls and take part in a special programme of activity. In particular it would be nice if you were to bring pictures, leaflets, photos or other memorabilia for an Incredible Edible Lambeth scrapbook, which hopefully will form part of the exhibition going forward.

AllGCCs andIncredible Edible Lambeth members get free entry to the museum on that day. All you need to do is tell the front desk that you're with Incredible Edible Lambeth.

In the evening we are going to get snazzy and have a private tour, some wine and even a meal (a bit like we did last year only with more food!). The private tour will run from 6pm to 7pm, then there will be a formal bit where Incredible Edible Lambeth will hold a short AGM and elect a committee, then we will enjoy a meal from 7.30pm to 9pm.

RSVP to Susan for the meal please so she knows how many to cook for. All the food will be sourced from Lambeth and everything is free (apart from the wine which you can buy by the glass).

If you would like to stand for the Incredible Edible Lambeth committee and help fundraise collectively for food growing and other food related projects across the borough - then please let Susan know. If you would like to contribute local food or help with the feast preparation, or run a stall during the day also please let her know.
