Resident Involvement
By its nature URH is a resident led initiative. Residents are fully involved in its governance and key decisions including the recruitment of staff.
URH will work with each member RMO to adopt local residents’ compacts to set out the full matrix of potential for involvement offered to residents, particularly to reach those residents who have not become involved as elected estate representatives on the RMO Boards of management.
Key elements of our resident involvement goals will be:
- To increase the shareholding membership of RMOs by estate residents
- To build a team of trained resident inspectors and mystery shoppers who will visit other estates within the URH group of RMOs
- To use focus groups to widen participation in, and to encourage the development of new ideas for, the Service Improvement Plan
- To develop frequent and regular surveys of customer satisfaction
