We know that incidents of harassment (also called anti-social behaviour or ASB) and putting people in fear of violence are prohibited by law. This includes verbal and physical abuse or threats, motivated by someone's age, disability, faith, race or sexual orientation.
At our local housing offices we will support you, treat you with respect, allow you to report an incident in a private safe meeting area. If you request it we will arrange for an officer of the same sex to meet with you, or we will act as a third party to the council's own Community Safety Officers
Your meeting with us will be treated in the strictest of confidence, and we will maintain and process the data you give us in accordance with our privacy statement and data protection requirements
We will act as a third party reporting centre for Lambeth Council and we will refer your report to the council's Community Safety Section who will make contact with you within 24 hours of the matter being drawn to their attention
We will work closely with our partner organisations, taking appropriate enforcement action in response to court orders and police action
We will remove any offensive or hate crime graffiti within 24 hours
You can report incidents to the police if in immediate danger - call 999. You can also call the council's ASB hotline 020 7926 4000, or report online using the council's online hate crime reporting form
Where we are unable to resolve cases of harassment ourselves, we will work with other agencies to find effective and quick solutions
